Living Your Design for Teens
What Human Design is NOT:
Religion, psychotherapy, fortunetelling, medicine, diet/exercise plan, or anything like that.
I’ve taught teenagers for over twenty years in 4 different US states and Mexico and if there’s one area I wish I could at least share with them a little, it is Human Design. In my own case, I don’t know if I would have embraced any of it as a teen, but looking at my current students and particularly since COVID I really feel that there is a confusion among a lot of my students that could be lessened if they took a cursory look at their bodygraph and, if nothing else, filed it away for later.
Ever heard “Why can’t you be more like so-and-so?” Would you like to be able to have an actual answer for that which could actually be accurate?
Get your free bodygraph, take a look around and then get back to me if you like. I can give you an overview, answer your questions (make sure you have them and write them down, that helps), and then you can start your experiment and see if any of this can work for you. Or not. It’s not for everybody, but every BODY has a Human Design. Wonder what yours is? What your Type is? What your Strategy is? What your inner Authority is? Self vs not-self? What have you got to lose? If I can’t help you, I have several people I can confidently recommend, or use your own Strategy and Authority and find someone yourself. It takes a bit of practice.
To Parents:
I am a licensed professional teacher in CA. I am currently employed by a local school district in good standing and have worked with teens for over 20 years. In my personal life, I have dealt with alcohol and drug addiction, ultimately getting sober in 1993. In 1999 I met Human Design. I never bothered sharing any of this with my students as I felt it unnecessary and, true to my design, no one had asked me to do so. When COVID hit it became quite clear that it was time for me to return to my Human Design studies although I wasn’t exactly sure why, other than to take online classes just like my students were from me. I felt it would help me understand any frustrations they might be experiencing.
Human Design is about differentiation. We’re all different, and within the framework of Human Design I have found it to be accurate and a reliable tool for personal growth. A lesser esoteric version of Human Design is called BG5, and this is being used across the world to help businesses and business people succeed as our world continues to change at a rapid pace.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. My role is to be helpful, and will only work with teens who are either 18 or, if under 18, have parent’s permission.
