The Comedy of Differentiation

As a high school Spanish/ESL teacher, stand-up comedian, and Living Your Design Guide, Jim brings a fresh perspective to the often stressful, stale, and dated environment of the classroom, using humor as a tool to connect with students in a positive, humorous, and relatable manner.

Jim’s sobriety journey began in Sedona, Arizona in 1993 through the 12-step methodology. His encounter with Human Design in 1999 came while attending Profile classes with Randy Richmond taught by Ra Uru Hu while he was in Sedona, opening a new chapter of integration and self-understanding as a 5/1 Emotional Generator. Jim's approach to Human Design is deeply informed by his own experiences with addiction and recovery, underscoring its compatibility with 12-step principles. He encourages anyone struggling with addiction to seek help.

As a Living Your Design Guide, he combines the wisdom of HD with the universal language of comedy, offering a distinctive and engaging experience that explores the lighter side of self-awareness, personal growth, and having fun along the way.
